Came here with a big group of 18 people. They have a pretty good breakfast combo specials That ranges from porridge/noodles to steak/chicken/eggs options. I'm giving it 4 stars due to them giving us the wrong drink and insist on it being right until we compared 2 of the supposedly same drink to prove the server wrong.

My family really loves coming here for dinner, I noticed we come here so often that the dishes we order are usually the same. Coming in they weren't so busy, it was clean inside and plenty of seating at around 5:30. They got pretty busy at 6 though. However, my dad decided to order something different this time and my boyfriend also ordered something different. This time he ordered a creamy rice dish with fish, he said it was ok but to be honest it's creamy, savory, and cheesy. It's not something he'd like but I think it was pretty good as a treat. My boyfriend ordered a noodle dish with wontons, it came out first before any of our other dishes! It was good, however, the chunks of ginger confused me and good thing he told me what it was and I didn't eat it by mistake. Wontons are pretty good, seems to be shrimp fillings. I ordered the usual chicken and pork steak, mushroom sauce and rice on the side. It was as deli as it usually is. Crispy chicken skin! Juicy pork meat. And of course unlimited milk tea and asked one to go. Unfortunately they were really busy for a Sunday dinner, our dishes came pretty late and when asking for something they usually tell us to wait and we weren't sure if they heard or not. My uncle ordered a club sandwich and it was too dry for them. Parking was packed pretty quickly at around 5:30.

Have been here a few times with family and there is always something for everyone, even a picky toddler. Love this HK style chaa Chan teng cafe. Laid back, casual, a bit loud. Great for big family gatherings, delicious and not pretentious. Service is fast but true to hk style no one ain't gonna be cheesin' and asking how your day went. Have tried many items in the past and enjoyed everything we have had so far! See some of my pictures for reference.

Garden Cafe is not a place where you think of getting the prime rib. However, tonight I am craving for prime rib and went ahead to have it at Garden Cafe. The prime rib cooks perfectly. The meat is tender and juicy. The service is attentive. I think they may need to update its decor since it has been a while.

Late afternoon meal. If you are in Arcadia this is the place for some decent food and drinks. Near the mall and Santa Anita park. Come get the Singapore fried rice with HK tea

The food quality is the same as Eats Bistro so check out my review on that cafe. This place is a lot closer to where I live and is my go to for similar and familiar Asian food. And they have my beloved Spanish Coffee!! They ample parking but it's their own so it can get filled up so you might have to street park when it's busy. Overall ambience isn't filled with us 10-15 years ago but more like our ages now with families lol .

Returned again with the family for lunch and tried some new & old dishes from last time. Parking lot was nearly full at 11 am but staff was quick in seating us. Service was slow though, took a while to flag someone down to take our order and then three tries to get our check to pay. But food (and portions) was still good! -Grilled chicken steak ($13.95): very tender chicken and perfectly flavored. Tasted even better with the garlic sauce on the side. Came with mashed potatoes and some zucchini and corn. 5/5 -Preserved egg porridge ($11.50): large bowl of porridge with decent amount of preserved eggs and strips of meat and topped with the crispy thing. Very flavorful. 4/5 -Baked rice with Portuguese chicken ($14.95): completely not what I expected as instead of tomato sauce and cheese, it was yellow curry as the sauce base. The chicken pieces were very tender though and the curry was very savory and not spicy at all. The rice came on the side. 4/5 -Ribeye eel fried rice ($24.95): medium piece of ribeye steak that was alright, not salty enough. The fried rice was the highlight with enough black pepper and small pieces of eel. Portion of rice was very generous. 4/5
